James P Honey is gesturing at you right now, using a knot of fingers that might not mean much to people on this side of the pond. This fact, and the look on your face right now, is intensely humorous to James. The UK MC brushes past, and moves on from this encounter, intoning to himself, repeating the same phrase over and over again. When his voice finally trails off, neither you nor he has gotten any resolution.

zoën provides the soundtrack for this engagement. Gorgeous, thoughtful sounds drip out of his head while the action unfolds, blurring the line a little bit between whether he is reacting to or actually controlling the movement. The French producer slows the motion down just enough to allow a few more moments of reflection.

Volume 3 is actually their first collection of work together, a six-song EP that renders color pictures in to several shades of gray.
